One
summer's day a grasshopper was hopping about in a field.
এক গ্রীষ্মের দিনে, একটি ফড়িং মাঠে ঘুরছিল।
He
was chirping and singing merrily.

A
group of ants walked past him.
একদল পিঁপড়া তার পাশ দিয়ে গেল।
They
carried plump seeds of corn.

"Where
are you going with those heavy things?" asked the grasshopper.

Without
stopping, the first ant replied, “To our ant hill.

continued with their hard work.

thick white blanket of snow covered all the food lying in the field.

The

He
went to the ants' hill.

He
saw that the ants had stored enough food for winter.

He
begged them for something to eat.

"What!"
cried the ants in surprise, "Haven't you stored anything for the winter?
