A Horrible Bus Journey (300 words)

It was a holy season. There was greenery all around. The whole sky was covered with cloudy clouds. The weather was very nice. It was Sunday. All the students of the hostel decided for Van Vihar.

The guardian of the hostel also gladly gave permission and agreed to move along. Just asked. We sat in the bus carrying the food items and musical instruments. The bus took us and moved towards the desired place. Due to the rainy season, it was raining little by little.

Within no time the bus reached Vindhyavati. Seeing the beautiful shade of nature there, the mind woke up with a peacock dance. The gusts of soft wind started providing special joy to us. In no time the clouds dispersed.

The sun god appeared and its rays started falling on the shell garland spread far and wide. Varsati nallahs and waterfalls were creating a unique music with their sound. Shell garlands clad in green sheets were generating curiosity. The scene was very beautiful.

First we did a forest walk. We reached the octagonal mountain. After climbing several hundred stairs, I saw Ashtabhuja Devi. There was some surprise to see a beautiful lake there. At one place, water was coming from under the mountain and was gathering in a pool. That is called Sita Kund.

Its water was cool and healthy. When I looked towards the Ganges on the top of the mountain, I could see a thin line of silver. The field was visible from afar. Trees and plants and villages were visible in it.

We laid the door there near the temple. There everyone prepared the food together. After bathing in the lake, enjoyed the pleasure of eating hot. The food prepared in a clean environment was very tasty. Oh what a joyful day it was.
