Kolkata—700001

Sub: Danger caused by the reckless driving of vehicles

Sir,

Kindly allow me to express through the columns of your esteemed daily, my grave concern over the reckless driving of vehicles which have recently become a serious problem in our society. The roads especially have become very dangerous. The drivers are not always trained. So reckless driving in such a situation is taking helpless lives day after day. There is none to force the drivers to follow rules and regulations. Strict laws must be imposed. Regular supervision by police will lessen the problem. In addition to that, pedestrians must be cautious while walking on the road or crossing it. I would therefore, on behalf of the commuters, request the authorities to take proper action for our safety.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely,

Raja Roy
