Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

1. Subhash Chandra Bose, popularly known as Netaji, was a great militant, freedom fighter and a patriot.

2. He was born in Cuttack, Orissa on 23rd January 1897 to Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Devi.

3. He was placed under house arrest by the ruling British Government, but managed to escape India in 1940.

4. He went to Singapore and took the full charge of the Azad-Hind-Fouj from another freedom fighter Rashbehari Bose.

5. He fought bravely against the British. We respect him the most.
